Tips to help you with GRE registration

GRE seats are filled on a first come – first served basis. Since the GRE score is mandatory for most business schools, it is important for the students to complete the registration well in advance, giving enough time for preparation. Apart from this, the exam scores will approximately take six weeks to be announced. This delay also needs to be factored in and accommodated to ensure that there is no delay in the admission of the school. Here are a few points of significance that all GRE applicants need to know before GRE registration.

Type of exam: The applicants have a choice between computerized and paper based exam models, depending upon the availability in the specific area. Some locations do not have computer based exams and the students need to be cognizant of this fact.

Location: The location or the test center needs to be chosen by the applicant during GRE registration. The test centers are not available in all the locations and in some cases, the students might need to travel some distance to reach the center. It is important to choose a center that is the closest.
